About the Author
Hello!
My name is Robert and my career as both a salesman and fitness lover inspired me to build this site. I have been exercising for the last 15 years of my life with a background in strength training, cardiovascular training, and Muay Thai kickboxing. I’ve spent years in outside sales. I was a mutual fund wholesaler selling mutual funds to financial advisors covering a territory that consisted of multiple states. From my work, I’ve spent many nights in hotels.
As a frequent traveler I became increasingly frustrated with the inability to get a consistently proper workout and stay healthy. From this frustration, coupled with my background, I began to study health and physical fitness so I could be healthy no matter what I did or where I was. I developed my own exercise routines and eating plan. This website is for all people who struggle to stay healthy and physically fit. I want to share with them the knowledge I’ve accumulated in fitness and healthy living over the years.
As Napoleon Hill says in his classic book Think and Grow Rich the most important mastermind principle of all successful people is discipline. Those who are willing to do the work even when they don’t feel like it are generally the most successful people. I bring this up because we must have discipline in every area of our lives, including our health and physical fitness. If our discipline starts to fade in one aspect of our lives it starts a slippery slope and before you know it other aspects of our lives suffer.
Everyone knows a disciplined exercise routine and healthy living can lead to more energy, greater self-esteem, reduced stress, and a healthier feeling. All of which can lead to better performance in our personal lives and careers. And yet, even though most people know this they don’t choose this. Why is that?
I am a huge believer that if you can find at least 20 – 30 minutes a day and spend it exercising and you concentrate on getting a proper nutrient intake you will perform better both personally and professionally. One of the biggest challenges I faced when I traveled was consistency. Consistency to exercise and eat right. I was on a budget, most of the hotels I stayed in had basic fitness rooms consisting of a treadmill, exercise bike, and maybe an elliptical machine. If I was lucky it had dumbbells or an “all-in-one” exercise machine that sometimes worked. There wasn’t much upkeep in these exercise rooms and I generally found these machines only moderately effective.
So I took matters into my own hands and developed ways to get an effective and efficient workout and studied what foods are healthy and why they are healthy. Best of all living healthy is not difficult it just takes a little effort and discipline.
This website is completely FREE. I tried to "cut the fat" and get to the point about health and physical fitness. I encourage you to spend time browsing this sight. My hope is that if you are not on fitness routine right now you will use the ideas and knowledge on this site to begin one. For those already are on a fitness routine great. Look around, because there may be some information on this site you can implement to provide variety in your life.
I hope to see you here again.
Robert
